Muhammad Bahrul Ulum, a.k.a Arul was born in Jember, 05 September 1990. Spending his young age in his birthplace until complete to finish his Bachelor of Law degree (S.H.) with very satisfactory GPA from Faculty of Law, University of Jember.

Despite his education, he was well-known as a Scientific Student Activist, for some scientific competitions and organizations. Such as the achievements of Constitutional Award from Constitutional Court of Republic Indonesia, Padmo Wahjono Award from Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia and the Founder and 1^st Executive Director of Jurisprudence Studies Forum (Forum Kajian Keilmuan Hukum – FK2H) at Faculty of Law, University of Jember.

• 2009-2010, Executive Director at Jurisprudence Studies Forum (Forum Kajian Keilmuan Hukum – FK2H), a students’ organization in faculty of law level that move to critical study of Jurisprudence.
• 2009-2011, Member of Research and Develoment Division at Jember Against Corruption, a social organization in Jember that criticize the spreading of corruption, making socialization of anti-corruptional education for student of senior high school.
